We're a small family farm located a short drive from Madison, Wisconsin. We offer already-picked and u-pick strawberries during strawberry season (usually mid-June - July 1) and sweet corn, tomatoes and other vegetables in late July and August. What's Happening on the Farm?  

May 30, 2011: The warm weather is a welcome addition to this cool wet spring. Berries are flowering and growing. Because it's been such a cool spring, though, it looks like berries won't be ready until somewhere around June 18.

May 2011: We have had two separate nights of hard frost which had John awake monitoring and then applying frost protection from the wee hours on. We're happy to say the berries appear to have made it through quite well. We hope to have a nice crop this year!

April 2011: We have been busy uncovering the strawberries from their winter sleep under several inches of straw. The plants look good!
